This was our inaugural ECEQE course, held in Solihull. There were19 participants, and 2 observers from the Medical Equestrian Association. We were helped out with 6 "casualties" from Birmingham University Medical School.
Teaching commences inside. Here's the airway station.
The Faculty then demonstrate the techniques outside before the participants have
a go themselves.

Holding the courses at equestrian centres gives us the ability to provide
accurate simulations of the kind of difficulties faced out at a real event.
Safely extricating a fallen rider from confines such as this is not easy to
replicate in a classroom!

Working together efficiently as a team is one of the key points we try to get
across.
We provide trauma kits which include all the latest field immobilisation kit -
such as the Kendrick leg splint seen here.
